High Lonesome was started in June of 2002 by Scott Russell and John
Spaulding.
Combining their talents, love for music and creating a sound and style that
has not been heard for years; taking you back to a simpler time in life when there were no worries except having a couple
of bucks in your pocket so you could cruise around with your best friends.
High Lonesomes wit and zany characters that arise during their show always
keep you entertained, sometimes you might hear Beavis and Butthead, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Droopy Dog or Elmer Fudd or a
host of others depending on which characters break out of their cage at that particular moment. They always keep you wondering
what will happen next.
The music is classic rock, classic country with down and dirty rhythm &
blues. The vocal stylings of Scott Russell are phenomenal whether he sings a warm
and romantic love ballad or a dirty, gritty heartfelt blues tune.
The multi talented John Spaulding
brings honesty, affection and devotion through his guitar every time he strikes a cord. And as far as harmonica players go, "that mutha can sure play harmonica" you
can actually hear the harmonica moaning in pain as he plays the blues.
And with the straight forward keyboard and vocal style of Bobby Hart,
the crowd is sure to be pleased whether he's pounding out a boogie woogie or softly playing a love song that sets the perfect
mood for lovers.
High Lonesomes goal is to make everybody feel special and just have fun at
their show. And you most certainly will.
